1899 Merryweather Fire Engine Wheels

Dover Transport Museum approached us to create and paint new wheels for their Merryweather fire engine c1899. The wooden wheels desperately needed replacing so that the fire engine can be taken out of the museum and transported to local public events. The fire engine is owned by Sandwich Town Council. 1950s Milk Float

This 1950s milk float was rebuilt based on an example of the float used by Benny Hill in the video for Ernie and the fastest milk cart in the West.

Great Fire of London Pump Chassis

2016 was the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London, and the Museum of London commissioned Croford Coachbuilders to build a fire pump chassis based on those used to put out the fires by hand during the fire. The fire pumps original barrel was joined to the new chassis at the Museum.
